What is Nature’s Medicine
I have found comfort, challenge, inspiration, escape, mystery, restoration, connection, and peace in nature. My fondest memories involve the times I have been connected to what nature offers in one form or another. As a psychologist who studies the connections between mind, brain, and body, I learned early on about the timeless link between our health and nature - how nature heals and how disconnections from nature foster all sorts of maladies that are so common in modern life.
Nature’s Medicine is my attempt to provide you with the links to the many faces of nature, to provide you paths to restore the natural rhythms of your mind, brain, and body upon which your health depends, and to bring you “pleasing and easing” places where you can go to immerse yourself in nature’s benefits when your daily life prevents you from going there directly.
